Need a new garden shed

Hi, I need a new garden shed (7x5) just wondered if anyone can recommend someone/where to get it from locally. Not keen on the ones from B&Q, Homebase etc.

Don't want to spend loads, but want it to last.

Found Alan Byrne Fencing, in Charter St Mill, Charter St in the yellow pages, has anyone used him??? Any good??? Haven't had chance to pop to see him.

All info gratefully received

I am Bee,

Use Focus DIY/Wickes (although Wickes is in Bury);
Store Locator - DIY Stores - Customer Services - Wickes

Re: Need a new garden shed

Are you talking about Wickes, or Focus?,

Wickes Blackburn closed down in 2004, according to this;

I'll second that, best shed I've ever had and very reasonably priced.

Never ever go to a DIY chain for a shed, cheaply constructed and won't last.

I agree with Ken, they are a well made shed. I had one from them and when I moved home it wanted dismantling and then shortened by two foot for the new base, they did the job and the price was OK.
They will make one to whatever spec you ask for.

Re: Need a new garden shed

I've used Workgreat W G Ltd, Peel St, Blackburn. excellent quality, reasonable prices and built to your specification, delivered and erected if you want. They also have a large display area and often sell off ex display models at bargain prices. Small traditional family firm.

Don't use the above link , you may end up getting something that will be next door to cardboard .

Re: Need a new garden shed

Thanks to everyone for info, tried all mentioned, decided to go with Garage world and Haydock Garden Buildings They are off junction 23 of the M6, you can see them from the motorway. 100+ sheds on display, well priced, good quality and fitting all included.

Thanks again to everyone for advice
