firework display 5th november
this Wednesday 5th of November the park pub in great harwood formally known as the park hotel will be hosting a huge firework display (weather permitting)

this highly successfully event takes place every year this year there will be a BBQ to ensure you lot don't get hungry

kids are welcome as long as they are supervised by adults

fireworks begin at 7:30 so get down early as to avoid disappointment

Can anybody confirm that the Plough are having their bonfire on Wednesday? Trying to find out for someone but nothing in Observer

Thats what we thought........we have been away for a few days and seem to have missed them all even though november 5th hasn`t even been yet....

Not if its anything like last year, you couldnt get into the pub, let alone to the bar it was that busy. The fireworks are worth it though, they were excellent last year.

Well i've just spoke to Rob who owns The Plough and they are not doing it this year.
