Mine picks up wireless very well. I bought mine a good while ago - I wasn't sure if I would like it so I didn't spend a lot on it. I have used it quite a bit....definitely got my moneys worth out of it.
I was perplexed though when putting an Sd card in it and it kept telling me to 'mount' my Sd card........I had to check out Youtube to find out what this meant.
The instructions that came with the tablet are just useless. It was a steepish learning curve for me...but hey...if you are learning you know you aren't dead
