The teachers are threatening to work to rule from September 26th.
Does this mean they will now teach the children to read, write and do maths properly before they're 18 or will they carry on leaving it to employers and universities?
Or is teaching the three r's properly not part of their job and therefore not covered by the rules?
Also with 73% not voting at all and only 22% voting for action how can they say they have a credible mandate?
