For me there is only one definitive Holmes and that is Jeremy Brett - absolutely perfect. (Quite a passion of mine -I have him as my avatar quite often!

While I grew up with John Pertwee as Dr Who, then Tom Baker, my absolute favourite was Christopher Ecclestone who did a fantastic job of re-launching the new modern series. Great actor.

Agree with Ken that Ringo Starr is brilliant on Thomas the Tank -still have the collection of original videos which my boys loved!
Robin Hood - see following video, brilliant and as he says at the end -Unlike some other Robin Hoods I can speak with an English accent!
