To clarify the Dawber situation I believe that the management are very keen to give him a pro deal (and have been for some time) BUT if he signs as a pro then the club aren't allowed to bring in an emergency loan, which would only leave Dawber available... and as we've seen in recent weeks it's probably a good idea to have two keepers available! |
Very good point made by Dan about if Dawber signed Pro deal we would be unable to loan another emergency keeper.
With Belford returning to Bury on Jan. 3rd it means we will still be requiring a goalkeeper
