Hi Rob Happy New Year thanks for the info.What is Linux? I am a pc novice and only know windows.I bought my laptop from pc worls]d over 12 months since and it had windows 7already installed along with a load of bumf about hewlard packard. Mymain problem is that it wont shut down, I have to power it off with the on/off switch
