Know exactly what you mean lettie. My first Christmas's in OZ were quite peculiar to say the least. The first one had a day 0f 112 F. I had to lie against the tiles in the bathroom to try and get a sensation of cool.
It has taken quite a while believe me to get adjusted to hot Christmas's. I am quite used to it now of course and it seems quite normal. But even so our Xmas cards all seem to portray a white xmas. Funny that!
