Damn right. A few weeks ago a hungry black cat came onto my front porch to munch on the food I put out for the strays and the 'coons. He decided to come in and spend the rest of his life being spoiled. We all, as kids, have our heroes. I remember some of mine: Jimmy Mac, Ray Pointer, Our 'Enry, Douglas Bader, Guy Gibson ... well, you get the picture. So I told hime I named the cat after the pet of Wing Commander Guy Gibson V.C. .... He asked why I didn't call it "Guy" or "Gibson"; and I realized at that point that his pc-ism was occluding his common sense ... so I gave up and we had a few beers.
