The F.a are thinking about bringing in a systme to prevent this happenign again they are going to fit the ball with a small chip and place two sensors on each post therfore when the ball crosses the line it is read by the sensors and this tells the officals

This is a long step to improve the referereing of our great sport and hopefully this will lead to better things in the game with the added help of technology to aid the refs who have a very difficult job!!!

I do not want video refs as i think this would interupt the game but ideas like this surley have to be welcomed at all levels
