We are probably better than any of them for the percentage of closed shops - walked through the Arndale yesterday morning, didn't count but it looked as though there were as many vacant shops as open ones.
The more shops close the less attractive the town becomes to shoppers, they go somewhere else, more shops close - will the last one out switch off the lights.
