1. Start point, the signal box at Huncoat.
2. A left turn takes you into the Colliery site.
3. Some fragments of buildings remain, but not enough to say what they were.
4. Taking a right turn over a style, it opens up to huge area.

7. Grass seed heads, I have no idea what variety.

10. A hidden gem, that requires a return visit.

I have used my allocation for today, so as I will be busy for the next two days will post the remainder then, the stream and beyond. (check the panoramic thread for a few more)

Lovely selection of photos Dave - apparently the signal box may soon be being demolished so those photos may be some of the last ones of it! I love the delicate Mayflowers and that banking full of bluebells really is a hidden gem - beautiful!
