More photos from around the center of Cremona during this weekends festival. The first 4 are taken at the recently opened Violin Museum in Piazza Marconi. The lady in pink playing a violin is American crime novelist Tess Gerritsen. The next 4 are some feaures of Cortile Federico II (a little courtyard in the Town Hall): statue of Antonio Stradivari, Visconti Coat of arms showing the black serpent, Water fountain and the side passage with frescoes. The last 2 pics are in Piazza del Duomo first the student assistents at the festival looking like they're sitting on a bus! Last, I treated myself to an iced coffee at the Bar dei Portici while listening to a soprano on the main stage. (I am such a culture vulture!
