Somebody mentioned the floods in Todmorden, the photos below were sent to me during last years floods by my brother.
Both he and my sister luckily live on the hill side so they wasn't affected by the flood.

Saw some footage earlier on Sky news showing the flooding and damage in Tod -looked pretty bad -they were in Walsden.
My Aunt and Uncle used to be really high up when they lived in Style House - not sure exactly where they are now but I know they have a railway line which passes behind their garden - hidden behind some kind of embankment...
