I think it's probable to assume that wages play a big part in Bavs being allowed to move on. BT obviously doesn't rate him as no 1 and sees Dawbs (probably a lot cheaper than Bavs) as a good bet for his no 2 no 1.
Whilst I don't pretend to know what Bavs is/was earning at the moment I know that 6 years ago he was supposedly on a far bigger wage than we should have been paying for a n0 2 no 1.
I think that BT would also like to clear out the 'Scouse Mafia' that once ran the club from top to bottom and leave as little trace of the Coleman Years as possible.
