The point I was trying to make, crudely, was that, if you were a crow living in Northampton and were willing to fly around 30 miles to watch football, your choice would be limited to Coventry, Leicester, Peterborough and MKDons
.
Whereas an Accy crow could head for Man Utd, City, Bury, Rochdale, Bolton, Preston, Blackburn, Burnley, Wigan, Oldham, Blackpool, Fleetwood and Morecambe (and not need a passport).
Thus potential 'customers' for the investment in Sixfields (by the way, it'll be the rents from the new hotel etc that subsidise the stadium) are less likely to be drawn elsewhere.
