I used to work behind the bar in the Cock and Bull and Corners. I did the odd friday night when I was only 15/16. Billy Mac used to look after me and keep the weirdos away. Loved that pub.

dont wory your not the only one to be banned from funnies it didnt take much lol and anyway bans didnt realy last that long
glad to see someone else remembers the corners as a damn good pub i had many a good night there but thats was when the corners,broadway and hope and anchor were the best pubs by far
i forget names but there was a guy who worked there who used to collect the glasses and serve behind the bar
he was a pretty big bloke and if memory serves me right after corners got demolished he bough an ice cream van , his name may have been john but it was a long time ago when i drank there and was in my early days of boozing
