Nice shots with your new camera! Having tried a few moon shots myself, but with a telescope, I found it helps if the atmosphere has as little humidity as possible. And no clouds. And no wind. That's why hubby and I have given up, and our telescope sits collecting dust! Lousy weather in that way where we live. Now Arizona, that's would be the ticket
