I wouldnt dare make up a name like that, I would be moderated into submission if I did. Yours (grass) the clue is in the name, stolonifera would indicate that reproduction would take place in the form of underground stolons, as well as the established way of setting seeds................you learn stuff on this thread, we should apply for lottery funding.
