Unplanned trip out on Sunday into the hills above Piacenza where we visited the lovely mediaeval village of Castel Arquato - spot my 'other half' in a few of the photos
We managed to avoid the rain till after lunch which was a shame as later we drove through some stunning rolling hills dotted with sunflower fields and it wasn't fit to take more pics... More to follow tomorrow of a visit to a lovely art gallery and a delicious lunch at a place a friend recommended which was excellent. I had a snap-happy day!
