Any parent in their right mind would do whatever possible to protect their child,I'd probably of done worse if truth be told.I'll be the first to admit, I'm all for a bit of 'vigilante justice' but is (even accidentally) taking someone's life without 100% proof justifiable? Hmmm
It's not 'murder' for the reasons you correctly outlined,to be honest (in this case) I think even "manslaughter" should be deemed as a trumped up charge
