Hated fish pie. It was always stinky and strong flavoured.
If that was on the menu I starved...well sometimes just had a plate of carrot and the pud.
Don't know what it was about the menu, but it was never a goodudding(like jam sponge and custard or roll poly) when fish pie was on the menu...it was usually sago or jelly and custard.
Not something substantial that would stop your back and your belly from flopping together.
