Lazy, lazy reporting!
During Feb
14 ASFC receiced at call about some players in Red tracksuits bringing in pre-purchased drinks into the Windmill Pub (bear in mind Morecambe, Wrexham and numerous others use the parking point).
I asked for this to be put into an e-mail to me so I could pass it to the the Manager ( James Beattie) STILL awaiting this e-mail.
On the Friday prior to the Torquay away game we agreed to pick up players from there, but nobody used the premises as we were away until after the Pomey game. I rang to pub on Thursday to warn them I still hadn't had the e-mail and the players wouldn't be using the pub. 5 minutes before the coach arrived at the pub I received an extremly abusive phone call from the mamager saying our players were no longer welcome at his pub.
Since that day in Feb 14th ASFC haven't ever used that pub as a pick up or drop off point.
As Coley rememeber today the last time he was there was Aldershot away; the same day Proccy went on loan to PNE!!
