Thank you Bob and thank you to all the folk out there who have taken time to respond. I appreciate your help. Have followed up on Lancashire FHS and have posted to two others researching the Bannister surname. I will visit the cemetery in the spring/summer. The period of greatest interest in my research is 1850 to 1901. Best wishes. Elaine
