I once lent 2 so called friends books, the first one swore blind I had never lent him any thing, the 2nd after 12 months of pestering, I went to his house, and what was originally a new book was a tatty raggy thing, no apology for the state or any thing, they were no longer counted as friends, and since then I don't lend books or any thing else, and if they don't like it, tough. People like that aren't friends they are like magpies, if they can get it for nowt they will. DON'T lend books
