I fully agree with you Monkey Hanger. No prospect of who will sign contracts until our 'Season' is finally over.
My worry is that if we don't get the promotion that we deserve then we will lose a few players! On the other hand if we do finally win promotion then I think our 'retained ' list will be somewhat healthier.
Whatever happens in the next 2 or 3 weeks, John and Jimmy will have to build a new team as they have done every summer. This year we will 99.9% certain lose some excellent loan players such as Hetheridge, Fosu, and Halliday. One or two may also retire.....Procky, possibly to go into the world of Physiotherapy....... Hughes is our elder statesman and has done really well for us but who knows if he will be signed on again? That's five players which is nearly half a team!
Next season still seems along way off yet to me with the pending Play Off matches our main focus.
Let's just hope that we can achieve the impossible and win PROMOTION.
