from 26th and 27th to 24th and - er - 27th
respectively. For Monkey Hanger, who took a bonus point as well, there was a genuine leap from 13th to 6th
, pushing MikeA out of the Top Ten.
As for the rest of us, it was a point or nothing, mostly nothing
. Nobody thought we wouldn't score
, but a slack handful of drawmongers went for 2-2, and a couple of wild optimists had gone for a 3-2 Stanley triumph. The resulting bonus points saw a bit of swapping and changing, with AndyD in 3rd closing the gap to the leaders, and Tom D and Lord S improving their positions in the Top Ten.
I'd almost forgotten how cr@p it makes me feel writing this after a loss
