Ball Boys are there to provide the ball back to a player as a matter of urgency. My take is that the incident was the fault of the ball boy not returning the ball as quickly as he could. Interestingly a post has already mentioned this and it sounds like he or she agrees with my observation....but what's a minor disagreement among friends....
