Professor Mark Woolhouse of Edinburgh University has said that the lockdown has been a 'monumental mistake' and was undertaken by government because it 'did not know what else to do'...it was A panic measure that took no account of the level of risks to various parts of society.
He has also said that we are not seeing a second wave.
That the 'spikes' being seen are just consequences of the lockdown....that they would have occurred anyway.
Mark Woolhouse is a professor in Epidemiology....so no slouch.
He has also criticised the make up of the group of scientists in the SAGE group...saying that theirbfields of expertise were too narrow.

All that said, the mainstream media are suggesting that lockdown MAY be reinstated next month.

Sweden has had no lockdown, no masks, no social distancing, no more deaths from the pandemic than any other country.....and the bonus is that they are said to be approaching herd immunity.
How very different from the knee jerk, panic stricken actions of other countries(ours included) for a virus that has been over hyped, over inflated......and a population scared of its own shadow.
Terrible, utterly terrible.
