, but the guidance systems seem to have been out of kilter somewhat
. 19 out of 26 players were expecting a winning trip to Cambridge, with 6 on the fence, and just 1 forecasting misery and destruction

So faithless Taypot got twice as many points
as all the rest of us put together, only missing a maxi by assuming we'd score once
. Of the faithful 19, only LongLostSon picked up a point
by thinking we'd let 2 in and still win, and StanleyJosh chose the right height of fence to sit on, getting a similar point
for his Desmond.
All of which saw Taypot move from 8th to 6th, passing Kiwi John and Monkey Hanger; LongLost slide by AccyTom18 into 11th; and StanleyJosh jump from 18th to 16th at the expense of Watchdog and Mab. And everybody else stood still, so Cashman
retains his one point lead over Shurm at the top, with Nige B two points further back in 3rd.
And as we're rolling over to Donny on Tuesday, weather permitting, I'll bring this week's drivel to a halt
with the thought that there is a coffin lid waiting to be screwed down over there in South Yorkshire
, if we can just bring ourselves to do it unto them
