Yup, been there.... I think I'm still under the threat of defenestration of the nether regions after the 'great eye level grill toaster fire' in the eighties and a coupla years later was refused parole after forgetting to turn the oven off after cooking a pasty.

...although it does have its drawbacks in that you have to remember to put the half eaten boxes into the bin and not just leave it next to the settee before going to bed because.. trust me.. that opens up a whole new world of hurt
