Back in the day the chips and fish were wrapped in several layers of paper….not sure if the newspaper was given to the chip shops….whatever….I am pretty sure that the paper today has to be paid for and if you get two sheets of it you are lucky.
I take an insulated bag with me to the chippy so that the food remains piping hot when I get home, because I know two sheets doesn’t do it.
