Re: Inter/AC Flares!!!

UEFA insisted Inter Milan had not been let off lightly with a four-match stadium ban for the crowd trouble which led to Tuesday's Champions League derby being abandoned.
Inter had feared expulsion from next season's Champions League given that this was a second offence, but a UEFA disciplinary panel instead imposed a £132,000 fine (300,000 Swiss francs) and ordered to play six matches behind closed doors, two of which are suspended for three years.
Don't know what UEFA consider punishment this has got to be the biggest let off since OJ.
Gate revenue from the night 1m pounds, add consessions and 132,000 is a drop in the ocean, 4 games behind closed doors, they have to go in to the quailfiers for either the CL or UEFA Cup so 2 closed door games against Marcbi Tel avi or Hansa Rostock 2nd 11 isn't really going to generate much money.
Imagine what the punishment would have been if it was an English club.
