Does anyone remember the Bombed buildings, at the side of the canal at Clayton just off Dill Hall Lane, there were gun turrets and shelters there and a big air vent, probably long gone now, but we used to play for hours up there. it was just a little further up from the swing bridge, where a young boy was crushed to death in the sixties.
