There are quite a few from Lanncs, living here, they came over when the textile industry was thriving, in the 50s & 60s, alas just this week Tasmanias last large weaving mill has gone into receivership, it will close if they cannot find a buyer. So a 150 people will be out of a job, which is quite a lot being that the population of Tassie is only, 495, 000.
