As an experiment I just tried to "thief" 1 ackers from Tealeaf but it wouldn't let me and stole an equivalent amount from me instead! (good job I only tried to nick 1!)

Sorry about using you as a guinea-pig Tealeaf but if ya can't thief from a Tealeaf who can ya thief from?

So - that begs the question - HOW DO YOU THIEF ACKERS?
