The old saying springs to mind, if it aint broke why fix it?

What do we have in the place of where the market last stood? Empty retail units still to rent, built I noticed last week for some reason, in a toy town interpretation of a French theme, with Chateauesque pitched roofs!

It was a thriving market, now we have to travel to neighbouring towns like Blackburn, Clitheroe, or better still Bury to experience what we have lost.

P*ss up, and brewery spring to mind.
