What happened in the past is in the past & cant be changed but what happens now or in the future can be. If we keep on harbouring the wrongs of the past we will be like an elephant that cant breath properly because of all the knots in its trunk! We know where this club is going, so does Rory. We are going to be a part of it-history in the making, no doubt Rory would like to be a part of it with hindsite. As long as a player is commited to the club & has learnt from the past & can promote himself as such I would welcome that player back. I know for Rory this will be a long shot & most likely there is no chance of it happening but he is still entitled to express his oppinion & if it is in favour of a club he was proud to represent good on him. As for his team spirit on the pitch, I saw plenty of him being ignored more than the other way round. Who was the winger who made space but never got delivery to use the created space to push forward? We will probably all beg to differ but if the guy has expressed an interest in returning his heart has to be with us, not against us.
