To the person who asked if I was stirring <censored> or having a go at Whalley, I guess it would be the latter however I meant it as more advice than critism. If you asked the people who went to the game last night, and only went to that one game this season, why they do not go more often, I would put money on that they would rather go to rovers or burnley. IT IS A FACT that attendance is bigger when rovers and burnley are playing away. For these people there is no competition, similar prices for a higher quality player.

Yes attendances do go up slightly when Rovers/Burnley are away but a lot of these people formed an allegiance to those two clubs when Stanley were not around or just reforming and still go for that reason. Personally there's no comparison - I've followed Stanley since I can remember but have attended a couple of Rovers games in the last few years, I was not impressed and know where I'd rather be. Oh and if we're dealing in facts - it is not £40 for an under 12's season ticket - it's actually £30 and worth every single penny
