I think you'll find the longest sequence is Altrincham's 28 matches in 1990/91. That's only in a single season (see
http://www.confguide.com/cgi-bin/allseq.mpl). If you start adding the end of one season to the beginning of another then it could be more. We've a 7 match run of wins at the moment so the record for the longest sequence of wins is a possibility and could be just the motivation for a win at Edgar Street!
