I'm not sure but I suspect it'll be similar to adoption. A child would have the right to know it's parent, but like adoption a natural parent can't contact their now grown up child, just offer their details to the appropriate authorities if the child enquires.
When sperm donations were seen as an act of kindness, or as a way to make a small amount of money, anonymity seemed guaranteed. Now the law's moved the goal posts. Next they'll be seeking back payements of child support. I'm glad I never did it, unlike some of my contemporaries at college.
