Re: Is Anyone Else Fed Up With Stanley?
just seen this thread and thought better of retorting to a troll trying to provoke. However, the fact remains that football is the most watched sport on Earth including all those 'World Championships' that only Yanks play. Everybody who watches this game has an opinion about why their team won/lost/drew and where it happened. We all have a different perspective on who played well/crap/indifferent. We all have an opinion on the clubs future/past/present. We all know the direction the present club should follow. The smaller the club - the larger the opinion, because your opinion carries more weight when there are less people forming those opinions.
I haven't replied to this thread to gratify numptys' ego, more to express to more undecided people what the attractions of football are. Its similar to politics in that everybody can have an opinion without being right or wrong, except that it is more enjoyable to participate in. Also I think there are more variables to football. Furthermore if we had no football then all men would be into shopping and there wouldn't be room for the genuine or more enthusiastic shoppers. Then we would be trying to avoid threads by these such people that "mATALAN was too busy today - I couldn't get in" or "the market had sold out of fresh pomegranites what am I to do?"
