On Wednesday, September 13th, it was a point of discussion on Beeb 1 that the hand luggage carry-on restrictions had been relaxed slightly to allow some previously banned items to be taken into the aircraft cabin. For example, musicians were being permitted to take their instuments with them.
The news article went further by saying that it was expected that this coming week the government would further relax the hand luggage rerestictions to allow larger items to be taken into the cabin. I certainly hope so, because when Lettie & I go away, next Sunday, we are restricted to 15 Kilos of hold luggage.
