That's where I park when I come to town, though I've never seen so few cars parked, normally it's chocka. I never knew the name of it though.

I've never really thought about it being an area in need of major regeneration. The landscaped parts are nicely done, though the wall by the stream needs repairing. The big building that was the plumbers merchants (Hargreaves?), is in the process of being taken over and done up.

The only problem as far as I can see it is that there are usually sacks of rubbish left in the street, which have obviously missed the correct collection day, because they are usually still there days afterwards.
