I have voted yes ... and I do not believe in capital punishment at all. Whatever beliefs you have ... religious or otherwise, this is how the Iraqis wish to dispose of this evil man and we should accept the wishes of these people, after all they are the ones that have suffered under his rule.
We would not expect any foreigners to influence our laws on capital punishment and think we should give them the same courtesy.
I feel reaction to his execution will be short lived, but keeping him alive will just prolong further terrorism. Imprisonment will just give out vibes from the new leaders of fear and weakness to the people. Men who followed this man thought he was a God, well, got to be shown that he is not. A clean sweep, that's what I say.
