When I was a lad in Accy, I read in the Ob or Tele that Accy had just earned the title 'The town with the most Juvenile delinquency in the UK.(around late fifties to early 60's) I was quite annoyed at this because Accy as far as I was concerned was a nice peaceful town. I don't know what criteria was used to arrive at that conclusion, but it miffed me off. Sure enough there were a couple of fights now and again between two lads, but thats normal. I really was annoyed.
