Correct Willow, Google will continue as is, as for SAMF, that was my first thought but it does seem it is Google that is trying out new stuff(as confirmed by the link Jamesicus posted that I found when I posted my reply). Its been long mooted that Googles algorithmn is its best and worst feature. It can be manipulated and given their whole revenue model is ad based thats not good news.

Hopefully they will get better at filtering out all teh "Buy XXX at blah.com" type hits that are just links in other search engines.
