He used to be the lead singer with Marillion many moons ago. Most famous song is Kayleigh ... you'll have heard it
He went solo, I still enjoy his music. I also enjoy Marillions music too, they got a new lead singer called Steve Hogarth, they've made more albums over the decades than U2 but they aren't with a money grabbing record company, they just make great music that sadly hardly ever gets air play over the radio stations and stuff.
