does it work like normal court that if found innocent, or on appeal, the Football League have to pick up the tab?

I dont know about anybody else but I resigned myself to seven points weeks ago, anything less is a bonus and that is how I'd prefer to think to as not to be 'unexpectedly' walloped with a seven point deduction. BUt saying that I am now feeling quietly confident.

The club made a statement at the time that basically told us the charges have been laid - no further comment. That gave a feeling of forboding, but the comments made by Mr Bean - although still giving away no further information - instilled a more positive feeling than what I had. I just wish Mr Bean had met a reporter weeks ago.......
