There's a very special place to our family, high on Oswaldtwistle moors, and that's were I'll be thrown to the four winds.
My Dad left instruction for his ashes to be scattered in the sea at Saundersfoot. As a family, we went down to our cottage in Pembrokeshire thirteen years ago. It was Easter Sunday, and we planned to go out in my Dad's boat to carry out his wishes, before driving back to Ossy that evening. Sadly none of us had checked the tides, and the boat was moored, and stuck in the mud. We eventually did what we had to do, later in that stormy night. It was really beautiful and moving, and we know my Dad would have been laughing at us all for being too dim to have checked the tides.
